School Trip - Book projects
HW - Read 100 pages of a book your choice by Monday 9/22.
I walked up to the door and got told where my new seat is. After, Sebastian read his blog out loud to the class and picked me. Ms. Nakada then, fixed his blog and said it was not point worthy. A few minutes later she told everybody to take out their English notebooks which everybody did. She then, started to talk about simple and complex sentences and told us the details of a complex sentence. She got a book from the back by Suzanne Collins and showed us different sentence types. She showed us a video of Elmo and Cristo Hernandez saying "Orgulloso." Then, she started talking to us about Latina Heritage Month starting on September 15th and ending on October 15th.
Quote - "Orgulloso means proud in Spanish. I am orgulloso being latino, orgulloso being from Mexico, and orgulloso being me." Cristo Hernandez
Ms. Nakada then, passed out a paper slip about a book project and told everybody to read over it by themselves and also talked about it to the class telling us the details. After that, everybody took out their ACE paper about School Trip. A few minutes went by, and it was time for everybody to pack up and leave.
