Week 8: Grammar, Quote
School Trip A.C.E
HW: Read The Outsiders P. 1-84 by Monday.
I walked into class, and started to write down the agenda. We listened to take a minute and then, Chrysta read her blog. After she picked me, we took out our English notebooks, and wrote our Week 8: Grammar, Quote, Question, Song, Lines. This weeks grammar was about verbs and their tenses. Then, we wrote down our quote "You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." by Maya Angelou.
Ms. Nakada mentioned that Creatober starts on Wednesday, and talked about different types of prompts. Next, the class went over ch. 7 of New Kid. The students go sight-seeing, Andy of course had something to say to Ashley, and Drew, Maury, and Jordan don't have many similarities except for race. Andy over some doughnuts, asked why everyone hates him, and the majority of them say they don't HATE him, except for Ramon. Then, Jordan rooms with Andy and tries to console Andy. By the time we finished, it was time for us to pack up.
