Week 7: Lines
School Trip A.C.E
Homework Finish Books by Monday 9/29.
We all walked into class, and wrote down our agenda for the day. Chris read his blog, and mentioned his name being incorrect. After he was done reading his blog, he picked me to write the next one. I went to sit in the front as people started talking in the transition to our week seven page.
Ms. Nakada handed out our poem slips, and started to talk about Joy Harjo, the author of the poem for this week "Invisible Fish." Then, we started to talk about what indigenous is. After, Ms. Nakada read the poem and let each side of the room popcorn read the poem. Then, Brandon asked if we could do each word to each person. After, we started to annotate the poem, we talked about evolution, early humans, modern life a pessimistic future, internal rhymes, and alliterations.
Ms. Nakada told us to get out our School Trip notes, and open the book to page 130. Then, Ms, Nakada started talking about the dreams of RAD students before getting side tracked by dual citizenship, we tried to go back to dreams before we got side tracked with small towns. After, we talked about the idea that not everyone can get the chance to see stuff like the Sacre Coeur. Then, we read about Andy and Samira arguing, before we packed up still behind the other classes.
