Week 11: Lines
The Outsiders/ Book Projects
Homework: Read a book( 100 pages by Monday )
I walked into class with Lilah, and went to my seat. Then, I asked Lilah if I could have a pencil, and my paper from Createober. After, I started my Creatober, and Melissa went up to read her blog. After Melissa read her blog, I clapped for her, and she went to sit down. Before Melissa sat down, Ms. Nakada asked her to pick the next person to do the blog, and she picked me. So I picked up my stuff and walked to the front and set my stuff down. Before I started working, I asked Ms. Nakada if Lilah could do the blog with me.
After we were done with our Createober, Olivia went up to share what she had drawn. Then, Ms. Nakada passed out this week's lines, which was from Robert Frost. Then, she read the poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay". Afterwards, Ms. Nakada was explaining to us what green meant metaphorically. Then, she explained to us what alliteration meant. After that, she talked about how Eden was an allusion to the bible. After, we switched over to our Outsiders notes. Then, we finished our notes, started to pack up, lifted our chairs, the bell rang, and we all left.
