Week 8: lines
School Trip
HW: Read The Outsiders, pages 1- 84 by Monday
I walked into class, and sat in my seat. Aeryn read her blog, and I knew she was going to pick me. Ms. Nakada started to talk about createober, and all the new supplies we get for it. She explained the rules for createober, and then, set a five minute timer. Everyone began to draw. About 10 minutes later, everyone was done.
We started to work on the poem of the week,"Changed" by Naomi Shihab Nye. Ms.Nakada and the class recited the poem, followed by some snaps. The poem was about someone hurting you, but not knowing they are, and growing bigger than that.
Then, everyone started to pack up. The bell rang, and everyone came rushing out of the classroom.
