Week 9: Lines

Homework: Finish The Outsiders by Monday!
I walked into class, and sat down in my seat. Adrian asked me for a pen. I said, "No, because I only have one, sorry." Then, Ms. Nakada started our take a minute video. We watched the other half of it, and repeated whatever the video said. "I'm open to freely express myself. I have power over my feelings." Then, Ms. Nakada asked me what our blog name is. I said, "Purple 67 Ms. Branda." She found Lilah's blog, and told Lilah to come to the front of the class to read it. When she was done reading, she chose me to write the next blog. I was excited, yet nervous. I didn't want to ruin a blog for us not to get a point! Next, Ms. Nakada gave our period a point.
I came to the front of the class at 2:32 to write this wonderful blog! After, Norah asked me if she can draw a picture of my bow for Createober. I said, "Yes!" I began to write the first part of this blog, but quickly, Norah was done drawing my bow. She showed me, and it was very pretty! Ms. Nakada gave me a piece of paper with a poem on it. I glued it to my English notebook. Far after, Ms. Nakada told Nolan to read the poem. He read it, and was told to sit near the front of class. Angelina told me to throw a piece of paper away. I said, "Yes!" Afterwards, Edgar started to read the poem, and passed it down to the rest of the class. I heard Joell say, "67." The class was done reading, and we began to snap.
Ms. Nakada started to talk to us about our behavior. She said it was a "Third grade behavior." She then asked Joell what this poem was about. Nolan started to speak, and told the class what the poem was about. Surprisingly, I heard Angelina say, "67." Next, Ms. Nakada asked us why there are a bunch of people who are mute. Ms. Nakada gasped, and talked to us about deaf people. Brandon said, "So Ms., they speak with their eyes?"
I wrote down the notes about the loving poem. The poem is bout love. I said to myself, "Love poems are very sweet!" We transitioned to take out The Outsiders book. Ameliana asked Ms. Nakada if we should keep our notes out. Ms. Nakada replied, "Yes." Suddenly, I heard loud blasting music coming from Ms. Nakada's computer. It was a video that her "Computer Ghost" was playing. I heard Angelina singing "Soda Pop", and Norah looked confused. Angelina asked Norah, "Do you not know that song?" Norah said, "No I do." She did in fact look confused. Ms. Nakada got a phone call. Brandon said, "That's a creepy phone call." Meanwhile, the class was dead silent reading The Outsiders! Then, we started to talk about a scene in the book taking place on the streets.
Brandon asked a question, and Ms. Nakada yelled, "READ THE BOOK BRANDON!"
Suddenly, The bell rang, chairs stood up on each table, and the class left way before me. I proof read this blog, and I left with me knowing who I am going to pick next!
