Lit. Circle Essays
HW: Essays due 3/4 Read toward IRP goal!
I walked into class talking with Carly until she brought up who she was going to choose to write the blog. She then told me she was going to choose me, which I already assumed. After Carly read her blog, she choose me. I then picked Jack to write the blog with me. After I chose Jack, we went up to write the blog while the "AIN'T I A WOMAN?"speech was playing.
We then went over the speech and wrote down our notes. Ms. Nakada asked someone who laughed, "What's funny?" and a little while after that, asked someone else if they were still cutting their poem out. Olivia's phone began to ring, and Nolan brought it up to Ms. Nakada. Joell went outside to find Olivia and tell her that her phone has been found. It rang again, and Ms. Nakada asked Noexi if she had Olivia's number, but then she also pointed out that it was pointless because her phone was already at the front of the classroom.
We went back to writing notes after that. The phone began to ring another three times, and Olivia went to the office to tell her dad that she found her phone. Josiah then asked Ms. Nakada to send something to the group chat. Brandon began destroying a paper. We were still writing our notes about the speech during all of this. Then, after the speech we took out our essays and worked on them for the rest of the time in class. After a while of working on our essays, the bell rang, we packed up and left to go home.
