I walked into class on time and took my seat. I then took out my binder reminder and notebook and started writing down the agenda. Ms. Nakada called up Minty to write the blog, and I heard Minty and Hudson pass by and say, "You're next." I sighed a bit, but then asked Ben if he could write the blog with me, and he said yes. Then, Minty had a change of heart and decided on picking Olivia instead of Cris, but Olivia protested against doing the blog, so Minty had choose Cris. I also decided to help Cris with the blog. We then went to read "Theme for English B" by Langston Hughes. The poem is about his assignment and how he relates to his teacher and how he is different due to his skin color. We then did our own theme for English B, finishing quickly since we only had eight minutes, trying to figure out ways to make rhymes but having barely any luck Then, finally, we got into our literature circles. Then, the day ended after we went home.
