wk 7: Grammar Quote lit circles
Hw: Essays due 3/2 Read toward IRP goal!
I walked into class and sat down. I took out my binder reminder and wrote down the agenda for today. Lilah reminded me that we forgot to write the blog for the last two days, so we knew we would have to write it today. Ms. Nakada then played the take a minute video, which was a video of a cat purring. She then set up the blog on Lilah's computer, and I started on my part of the blog. Then, we started writing down our grammar and quote. The grammar was about the basics of how to form an essay. Our quote was from Michelle Obama: "The measure of any society is how it treats its women and girls." After we finished our notes, we started to look at some essay prompts that Ms. Nakada assigned us each to write a thesis for. Once we finished we packed up, put the chairs up, and waited for Ms. Nakada to dismiss us.
