Week 8: Lines, Quiz

HW: Read toward your IRP goal. Last book project due 3/19
I walked into class, and sat down, and wrote down the agenda. Zoey and Dylan then came up, and read their blog. They picked me which was kind of random, but I have a feeling it was Zoey's idea and we are opps now. I asked Lilah if she would do the blog with me, and she said yeah. We went up and sat at the desk, and waited for Ms. Nakada to sign us in to the computer. Once we got situated, Ms. Nakada showed everyone the route for this year's marathon.
After that, we started to do the lines for week 8, which was by Lucille Clifton. We started breaking down what the poem means, and Lilah started stamping my hands and paper, with a rose stamper. After we finished our lines, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our computers to take the week 8 quiz. We started doing our quizzes. Then, Ms. Nakada told us that when we were done with our quiz to close our computers and to start reading independently. Later, we packed up, put up our chairs and waited to be dismissed. The bell rang, and we all left.
