Lit. Circle Essays

HW: Read towards IRP goal!

Essays due 3/4

I walked into class, sat down in my seat, and took out my supplies for English. We watched the take a minute, which was a few words of text, and a video of a ski area. We moved on to the quiz. By the way, whoever gets mentioned last in this blog is who I choose tomorrow(today). We all worked on the quiz, where there were only four questions. I almost forgot to submit my quiz because I was so focused on watching Ms. Nakada grade Jack's finished essay, and I then saw George pass by the door, looked inside, then walked on. Branden said "So immature" to Hudson, then muttered something under his breath which didn't sound very nice. I put my computer away into my backpack, then took out my Lit. Circle essay from my English notebook. Then, Olivia said "Put. Your. Notebook. Away." out loud as I started writing.

As I looked back to see why everyone was getting so loud, I saw Jenson tap Yasmine, then walk back to his seat. Joell then said that he was going too work on his essay out loud as he high-fived Jack. Sebastian saw me looking around and said "Why you looking over here? Look over there." Olivia then said, "I took a stand so that I could get a dog" to Ms. Nakada. Minty then walked up to Ms. Nakada and asked me to choose Hudson for the blog, but I told her my method and for now, she would be chosen. Out of nowhere, the phone started ringing which Olivia picked up, and said that Jack was leaving early, so Jack packed up, which took him about seven seconds, then left. That was when Ms. Nakada got mad at Olivia because she should have been further into her essay. I then looked at Melissa, and she asked me if I heard something, and when I said no, Josiah came up to see what I wrote. Jenson then brought up a backpack to the seat next to me, and said "He took your backpack" to someone behind me. I heard maybe one word of a conversation between Hudson and Branden, and Branden asked me to put something bad about Hudson, to which I would not put on this family-friendly blog. Nolan then came up next to me, said my name, stapled something, then sat back down. 

By now, it was around three pm when I saw Joell and Brandon swap not-in-uniform slippers, then switch back. Melissa then asked if she was featured, and I said yes.

 "Where's your essay?" asked Ms. Nakada to Joell. "My hands are cramping up." "Get out your essay," Ms. Nakada said, "I'm calling your mom." I then looked at the time, and the bell would ring in four minutes. Branden then said something to Hudson which I didn't hear. Ms. Nakada then saw Branden not working, asked him if he needed help, and when I looked at his notebook, it was blank. Olivia then asked Ms. Nakada something and pointed out that there were two minutes left, which I checked, and there were, so I packed up my stuff very quickly. The bell rang as we packed up, and we got dismissed side by side.
