Week 16: Question
NaPoWriMo submissions due May 8th!
Poetry slam May 12th!
I walked into class and took a seat in my new seating arrangement, next to Jacob P.B. We watched the Take a minute, which was about riding the waves and going with the flow. Ms. Nakada was about to open up the blog when she realized no one did the blog yesterday. She asked who hadn't done their fifth and my hand shot up. I ended up getting picked for the blog and asked Minty (aka Mint Choclate Chip Ice cream) to do the blog with me!
I stepped into class and walked over to my seat, I took my binder reminder out and began to write the agenda down. We watched the Take a minute video then continued off with Ms. Nakada finding out that no one did the blog yesterday. She realized that Nolan S. didn't do the blog, she asked if he could come up and do it. Nolan swore up and down that he had already done his fifth blog, which led Ms. Nakada to ask everyone who hadn't done their fifth blog to raise their hand. Then, Matthew DC immediately threw his hands up, knowing him, I already knew he was going to pick me.
We moved on to our week 16 question, which was "Who do you look to for understanding right from wrong?" Ms. Nakada talked about how teenagers sometimes can't recognize right from wrong because their prefrontal cortex isn't fully developed. Afterwards, Ms. Nakada then gave us the rest of the period to work on our broadsides and NaPoWriMo submissions. Then, we packed up and left. YAY!
