Week 3: Question, Song

Reader's/ Writers workshop

HW Read p. 100-185 of School Trip by Tuesday.

 I walked into class. Then, I sat down and wrote the Agenda for the day. Nolan went up to read his blog, while I was thinking that he was going to pick me. He did, and I went up and wrote the title of my blog. 

Ms. Nakada started editing Nolan's blog. After, that Ms. Nakada said, "Go ahead and open up your English notebooks." They started writing their week 3 Questions. The question was: What do you think about school? The students shared their opinion. After the question, they wrote SONG and then, Ms. Nakada chose the song. Ms. Nakada played "What's Goin' On" by Marvin Gaye, and it was playing in front of me, and it was too loud. 

Ms. Nakada asked, "What was the song about?" The class said things about the war. Then, Ms. Nakada was talking about the song. Next thing you know, the bell rang, and class was over.
