Week 8: Question/Song
SCHOOL TRIP ACE
Hw: Read The Outsiders p.1-84 by Monday
I walked into class, sat in my seat, and forgot to write the agenda down. Then, Carly proceeded to read her blog. When she was finished Ms. Nakada said that there were no mistakes in her blog, and said it was point worthy. After that, the class started writing in their English journals the question of the week "How can daily life spark creativity?" When they were done talking about the question, we moved on to the song of the week, "Immigrants (We get the job done)" by K'naan feat. Snow tha Product, Residente, and Riz MC.
After we finished listening to the song, we talked about what the song was about and the tone of the song. We also talked about what were some of the class's favorite lyrics. When we were done talking about the song, we switched to our SCHOOL TRIP notes and started taking notes on chapter 8. But before, we could continue writing we packed up and the bell rang.
