Week 12: Quiz
NaNo prep
HW: NaNoWriMo starts 11/1!
Norah and I, (Zoey), walked into class while Ms. Nakada was giving out Halloween candy! Then, we sat down in our seats eating Milky Way, and Snickers. We wrote down the agenda. Soon, Ms. Nakada read us Joell's blog. Ms. Nakada asked the class, "Who should write the next blog?" Olivia shouted out, "NORAH!" We heard a bunch of other names too. But, Ms. Nakada put all the names heard on a name spinner. Surprisingly, Norah got chosen to write the next blog!
As the name spinner landed on my, Norah's, name, I heard shouts from the class as I got up rolling my eyes and gathering my things. Zoey volunteered to write the blog with me, and I joyfully said yes. We sat down together and began to write. Then we saw Jonathan get up and share his questionable Creatober drawing of the numbers six, and seven.
Norah and I, (Zoey) told Olivia that we are going to get revenge on he no matter what!
After, Ms. Nakada took out her notebook, and wrote "Buddy Letter" on the page titled "NaNoWriMo Prep." She explained that we are going to choose a writing buddy, and she wrote an example letter to her buddy named Hazel. The letter included telling her that it is time for her to write her essay, and deciding the goal of words she is going to write. Ms. Nakada took out a calendar to show us how we can keep track of how many words we are writing per day and where to start writing. She continued writing her letter.
Then, (Zoey) Ms. Nakada suggested that we write 1,000 words, and eat a piece of candy for that achievement. Jenson said, "What about six or seven pieces of candy?" Then, I heard Olivia say, "YES!" Ms. Nakada started to talk to us about planning suggestions. She said, "My husband asked about NaNoWriMo because he supports me by asking me how it's going every day." Afterwards, she told Olivia to step outside, and Olivia grouchily said, "NO!" but she stepped outside anyway.
Next, Ms. Nakada told us to turn back to our Week 12 Notes! She reviewed some of the notes with us for the test. The class took out their computers. Olivia asked Norah and I, "HOW"S IT GOING?" We laughed. Norah said, "Pretty good! Thanks for choosing me for the blog." Ms. Nakada told Olivia to go back into the hallway. Ms. Nakada told us that we have to finish up the blog, so Minty could use this computer. We took the test, and wrapped up our wonderful blog!
Ms. Nakada asked Olivia during the test, "What are you watching?" Olivia said, "Cat's eating spicy noodles, Miss!" We started to dance to "Ruby Chan" after we were done with our quiz. We also played "You make the face, and I make the sound." It was cringe and hilarious. Christopher started stapling things at us. Then, I, Zoey, yelled quite loudly with fear. Ms. Nakada then told Olivia to stay seated. Finally, Norah and I high fives each other for this amazing blog! (And our hands were very stingy and red afterwards).
The bell rang, chairs went up, and we left school knowing it would be a great Halloween night!
