H.W: Read toward your IRP goal

Last Book Project due 3/19

I (Angelina) walked into class and sat down in my seat. I got distracted and worked on my bracelet even though I should have been writing my Agenda. The take a minute for this week was very calm and there were flowers in the video. I remembered I had to read the blog today and that Jake wasn't here. Ms. Nakada called me up to read the blog.

I (Norah) listened to Angelina read the blog while I finished writing in my binder reminder. She then chose me to come to do the blog with her again, since she needed to catch up and hadn't done it in a while. I wasn't too surprised she chose me, since I hadn't done my fourth blog yet, either. I collected my things from my desk and made my way over to the front of the class. We did the grammar, which was three comma rules. Then we wrote down and discussed the quote, "Nothing in the Golden Rule says that others will treat us as we have treated them. It only says that we must treat others in a way we would want to be treated." By Rosa Parks.

I (Angelina) didn't write down in my English book yet, so Norah offered to write the blog. I said yes, and handed her the computer. I wrote in my English notebook, what Rosa Parks meant when she said her quote. Then we had another shocking discovery that the sun comes up. (Jaw drop and*gasp*) Either way, I wrote down the question, "How challenging is it to follow the Golden Rule".

I think it's easy but also hard when you have to follow the Golden Rule. After we finished answering the question. It was time for reader's workshop.  Many people asked if they could go to the library to get a book or return a book. It was quiet for readers's workshop, which was not surprising. Everyone started to pack up. We started to put up our chairs. The bell rang, and Ms. Nakada called us to leave by side. I stayed back a minute to finish it. And then I finally left.
