Week 10: Quiz

Homework: Read toward your IRP goal. 

    We entered class, and sat down in our seats. We watched the "Take a Minute" video, and wrote in our    binder reminders. Olivia and Christian went up to the front of class to read their blog. Unfortunately they didn't win us a point, but it was very... Interesting! Olivia picked, specifically, Norah and I, (Zoey) to write this wonderful blog. We accepted, and sat at the front table near Ms. Nakada. We already knew that this blog would be such an amazing one! Then, Ms. Nakada told the class to go into the Readers/Writers Workshop. As the class fell silent, I began to write my weekly summary!

    Some of the class read their books quietly, while others wrote their weekly summaries in their binder reminders. I (Norah) read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, and Zoey wrote her summary about the book she read! After Ms. Nakada finished checking peoples' binder reminders and summaries, she announced that we could get out our computers to take the week 10 quiz. The class was a little bit noisy, and Ms. Nakada started getting irritated because some students would not listen to her. 

    We finished our quizzes spectacularly! When we finished our quiz, we continued with the blog and did some more silent reading. Eventually, it was time to pack up, put chairs up, and leave. We left with smiles on our faces knowing who we were going to pick next! Get ready.... J-
