Ten - year plans

HW: Think about your life in ten years.

I walked into class, sat in my seat, took out my materials, and waited for Ms. Nakada to start the "Take a Minute." After the "Take a minute", we read and corrected Jonathan's sixth blog, after reading his blog he chose me to start the next one. I packed up my things, walked to the front, and started the blog with Adam. Next, we got out our English notebooks, cut out a poem, and glued it into our books. The poem was called "Just As the Calendar Began to Say Summer" by Mary Oliver. After learning  its meaning, we updated our ten-year plans. We calculated that everything, including things like rent and insurance and so on , would cost $4500 a month. We then added a few career options to our ten year plans. After that, Ms. Nakada told us the most effective way to figure out career requirements is by using the website "bigfuture.collegeboard.org" and made us write down two jobs from the website, as well as colleges we could apply to such as a safety school, a target school, and a dream school. After writing this down, Ms. Nakada told us to pack up, put our chairs up, and dismissed us.
